How to Install During Beta
What is TestFlight?
Apple TestFlight is how we share beta apps before the App Store. It's Apple's official beta testing platform that lets us invite trusted users to test SilverConnect.
About the Private Beta
SilverConnect is delivered via Apple TestFlight during Private Beta.
Founding Families may notice small refinements and updates as we improve the experience. This is part of building carefully — with families involved at every step.
All core features work as designed. TestFlight is a temporary install step until public App Store launch.
We Add Your Email to TestFlight
If you're approved for Private Beta access as a Founding Family, we add your email address to our TestFlight beta program.
You Receive an Email from Apple/TestFlight
You'll receive an email from Apple TestFlight (or from us with TestFlight instructions). This email contains a link to install TestFlight and then SilverConnect.
Tip: Check your spam folder if you don't see the email within 24-48 hours after approval.
Install TestFlight, Then Install SilverConnect
Follow the link in the email to install the TestFlight app (if you don't have it), then install SilverConnect through TestFlight.
Open the App and Enter Your Invite Code
Open SilverConnect and enter your invite code during sign-up. Family/Helper roles require an invite code. Seniors are typically added by family inside the app (no code required).
Does TestFlight Limit Features?
TestFlight is only how the app is installed during beta — the app experience is the same.
After App Store Launch
Once SilverConnect is available on the App Store, you'll be able to install directly without email onboarding. Joining will be faster because anyone can install the app publicly.
Troubleshooting
Didn't receive TestFlight email?
Check your spam folder first. TestFlight emails come from Apple or from us with TestFlight instructions.
If you still don't see it after 48 hours of approval, contact us at contact@thesilverconnect.com with your email address.
Already have TestFlight but app doesn't appear?
Make sure you're using the same email address that was approved for beta access.
If the app still doesn't appear in TestFlight, we may need to resend the invite. Contact support with your email.
Invite link expired?
TestFlight invite links can expire. If your link has expired, contact us at contact@thesilverconnect.com and we'll send a new one.
I have a code but can't install the app
You need TestFlight access first. If you received an invite code but haven't received TestFlight instructions, contact support at contact@thesilverconnect.com.
