Most Common Questions
How do I join the Private Beta?
SilverConnect is currently in a Private, Trusted Beta. Request access on our website. If approved, we'll add your email to TestFlight and send install instructions along with your invite code. See Private Beta Invites for details.
How do I install the app during beta?
See detailed installation steps on our Get The App page. Installation requires TestFlight access during beta. See Private Beta Invites to learn how invites and installation work.
Does TestFlight limit features?
No. TestFlight is only how the app is installed during beta. All available beta features work normally. See Private Beta Invites for details.
Who needs an invite code?
Family caregivers and helpers need an invite code to join the Private Beta. This helps us keep the experience safe and trusted. Seniors are typically added by family inside the app (no code required).
I have an invite code — what do I do?
If you already received an invite code, you'll still need TestFlight access to install the app. See Get The App for installation steps, or Private Beta Invites to learn how invites work.
I have a code but can't install the app
You need TestFlight access first. An invite code allows registration, but install requires TestFlight email access. If you received an invite code but haven't received TestFlight instructions, contact support. See Private Beta Invites for details.
Do seniors need an invite code?
No. Seniors are usually added by a family caregiver from inside the app, so they don't need a separate invite code.
What happens after I request an invite on the website?
We review requests (this is a trusted beta). If approved, we add your email to TestFlight and send install instructions along with your invite code. See Private Beta Invites for details.
Is SilverConnect available publicly yet?
Not yet. We're running a Private Beta distributed via Apple TestFlight. Once SilverConnect is on the App Store, joining will be faster because anyone can install the app directly.
What does it mean to be a Founding Family?
Founding Families are early participants helping guide SilverConnect as it grows. You get full access during Private Beta and a direct voice in shaping features, clarity, and flow. We update thoughtfully and listen closely — especially when something doesn't feel right.
How do updates and communication work during the Private Beta?
Email is our official communication channel for: TestFlight updates, release notes, and important notices. We also offer an optional WhatsApp group for quick questions and shared learning with other Founding Families. Participation is always optional.
How will I receive updates during the Private Beta?
Email is our official communication channel for TestFlight updates, release notes, and important notices. We also offer an optional WhatsApp group for Founding Families who want a more conversational way to ask questions and share feedback.
Are helpers verified?
During Private Beta, helpers join through trusted family invites. Identity verification may be requested for some roles and is rolling out gradually—it's not mandatory for everyone yet. Background checks and stronger KYC are part of our longer-term roadmap.
